WHAT YOU NEED:
1 Package Junket Bread Pudding Mix; 5½ cups day-old bread cut into 1″ cubes** (French, Italian, brioche, sourdough, or cinnamon bread, or other baked goods like cake or croissants); 2⅔ cup whole milk; ½ cup heavy cream;
4 Tbsp butter (melted); 3 eggs (room temperature);
1 cup chocolate chips, raisins, nuts, or sliced fruit (optional).
**If bread is fresh, cut into 1″ cubes and place on a baking sheet.
Leave on counter to dry out overnight, or bake in oven at 250°F, stirring every 15 minutes, until dried out.
