Case of 12

WHAT YOU NEED:
1 Package Junket Bread Pudding Mix; 5½ cups day-old bread cut into 1″ cubes** (French, Italian, brioche, sourdough, or cinnamon bread, or other baked goods like cake or croissants); 2⅔ cup whole milk; ½ cup heavy cream;
4 Tbsp butter (melted); 3 eggs (room temperature);
1 cup chocolate chips, raisins, nuts, or sliced fruit (optional).

  1. Preheat oven 350°F. Butter a 2-quart baking dish, set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together Junket Bread Pudding Mix, milk, heavy cream, melted butter and eggs.
  3. Gently stir/fold in bread cubes and optional add-ins, covering all the bread with egg mixture. Let Bread Pudding sit for at least 30 minutes for mixture to soak into bread.
  4. With slotted spoon, transfer bread cubes into prepared dish. Don’t pour remaining liquid into baking dish.
  5. Bake covered with foil 45-50 minutes, or until top of bread pudding springs back when lightly pressed. Remove foil for the last 15 minutes.
  6. Let pudding stand for 10 minutes before serving.

**If bread is fresh, cut into 1″ cubes and place on a baking sheet.

Leave on counter to dry out overnight, or bake in oven at 250°F, stirring every 15 minutes, until dried out.
